What is Facelift?
As you age, you lose facial skin elasticity, tissue volume, and bone density… all of which lead to sagging skin and a tired appearance that does not reflect the energy you still feel. Both our surgical and non-surgical facelift procedures help turn back the clock, giving you a fresher, younger look.
Our process for performing a facelift is generally different for men than it is for women. While most women patients prefer a look that is perfectly smooth and tight, our male patients favor a traditionally masculine appearance. We strategize vectors (the directions in which we pull the skin) based on the goal of restoring the appearance of vitality without compromising the air of maturity your years have earned you.
Procedure
The length of a facelift surgery for men can vary depending on the extent of the procedure and the individual patient's needs. Generally, the surgery can take anywhere from two to six hours to complete.
Recovery
The recovery period after a facelift surgery for men can vary from person to person. Generally, patients can expect a recovery period of around two to four weeks before they can resume normal activities.
Anesthesia
The type of anesthesia used during a facelift surgery for men will depend on the extent of the procedure. Generally, there are three types of anesthesia that can be used IV sedation, Local and General anesthesia.

Who Qualifies for Facelift Procedure?
The ideal candidate for a facelift is generally a healthy individual who has visible signs of aging in the face and neck area, such as sagging skin, wrinkles, and jowls. While there is no specific age range for facelift candidates, most patients are typically between 40 and 70 years old.
In addition to being in good health, candidates for facelift surgery should also have realistic expectations for the procedure and be motivated to achieve the best possible results. They should be non-smokers or willing to quit smoking for a period of time before and after surgery, as smoking can interfere with the healing process and increase the risk of complications.
Before undergoing facelift surgery, candidates will need to undergo a thorough medical evaluation, including a review of their medical history, current medications, and any underlying health conditions.

Both procedures target specific areas of the face to melt fat and tighten the skin. These minimal-invasive options typically achieve about 50% of what a surgical Facelift achieves. We also offer an array of non-surgical therapies with varying amounts of recovery time for those unable or unwilling to commit to a longer recovery process.
