What is Full Body Lift?
Even those of us who are physically active may not always achieve the results we desire for tightening sagging skin, and evening out irregular contours, in the abdomen, back, buttocks, and chest. A Full Body Lift is a series of surgical procedures designed to help give tone and shape to the breasts, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen. A Full Body Lift can help eliminate back fat rolls; improve dimpled and irregular skin surfaces (commonly known as cellulite); narrow the waist; improve poor tissue elasticity caused by genetic factors; and tighten excess skin around the groin, thigh, and buttocks. In certain cases, Liposuction is performed in conjunction with a Full Body Lift.
Procedure
The length of a Full Body Lift procedure can vary depending on the individual case and the extent of the surgery required. However, in general, the surgery can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours to complete.
Recovery
Recovery time after the procedure can vary from patient to patient and depends on the extent of the surgery performed. Patients can expect a recovery period of about 4-6 weeks and avoid strenuous activity.
Anesthesia
A Full Body Lift procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia, which means the patient will be completely asleep and will not feel any pain during the surgery. In some cases, regional anesthesia may be used.

Who Qualifies for Full Body Lift?
An ideal candidate for Full Body Lift surgery should have achieved a stable weight and should not be actively trying to lose weight. Fluctuations in weight can affect the final results of the surgery.
Full Body Lift surgery is typically recommended for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight, usually as a result of bariatric surgery or through diet and exercise, and are left with excess skin and fat in multiple areas of the body. However, not all patients are candidates for Full Body Lift surgery, and it’s important to meet certain qualifications to ensure a safe and successful procedure.
