What is Hair Grafting?
Hair grafting, also known as hair transplantation, is a surgical technique used to treat hair loss. It involves removing hair follicles from one area of the scalp and transplanting them to another area.
A simple hairline adjustment is a subtle change that can make a huge difference in terms of gender presentation. Male and female hairlines are often different. Through our hair grafting services, we adjust the shape or position of your hairline to better align with your gender. This includes extensive hair restoration for transgender women struggling with extreme hair loss. Our hair grafing services ensure a full head of natural hair.
Procedure
The duration of a hair grafting procedure can vary depending on the extent of the hair loss and the number of hair follicles being transplanted. Typically, the procedure can take several hours to complete, ranging from four to eight hours.
Recovery
The recovery time after a hair grafting procedure can vary depending on the individual and the extent of the procedure. However, most people are able to resume their normal activities within a week or two after the procedure.
Anesthesia
Most hair grafting procedures are performed using local anesthesia, which is injected directly into the scalp. This allows the patient to remain awake during the procedure, but they will not feel any pain or discomfort.

Who Qualifies for Hair Grafting?
Hair grafting is typically recommended for individuals who are experiencing hair loss or thinning and have healthy hair follicles in the donor area of their scalp. The best candidates for hair grafting are typically men and women who have a sufficient amount of healthy hair follicles in the donor area of their scalp, have hair loss that has stabilized or progressed to a point where hair grafting can provide a significant improvement, and are in good overall health and do not have any medical conditions that could increase the risks of the procedure. However, hair grafting may not be suitable for everyone, and your surgeon will evaluate your individual case to determine whether you are a good candidate for the procedure and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan for your needs.
