Love Your Toned, Gorgeous Thighs

The thigh lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the thigh area to improve the appearance of the thighs. It is typically performed on people who have lost a significant amount of weight or have loose, sagging skin due to aging or genetics.

During a thigh lift procedure, an incision is made in the inner thigh area, and excess skin and fat are removed. The remaining skin is then pulled tight and sutured into place to create a smoother, more toned appearance.

In some cases, Dr. Rogers can call on his extensive skillset to add liposuction to the procedure, which can remove additional fat from the thighs for impressively comprehensive results that will restore your self-confidence and quality of life in equal measure.

Dr. Rogers has spent years delighting patients in Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and all over the world with his dedication to surgical innovation and his commitment to impeccable results. If you’d like to learn more, reach out to our office and set up your consultation today.

Is the Thigh Lift Right for Me?

Thigh lift surgery in Beverly Hills & Pasadena with Dr. Leif Rogers is ideal for any individual who has excess skin and fat on their thighs that cannot be reduced through diet and exercise alone. While most of us believe that healthy eating and regular exercise are the tickets to the figure of our dreams, our bodies don’t always cooperate with us in the ways that we’d like. You may have found that you’re experiencing increased laxity or sagging on your thighs as a result of significant weight loss or the aging process. In other cases, a life event like pregnancy may result in sagging skin that can be addressed with a thigh lift.

Visiting Dr. Rogers at his Beverly Hills office will give him the chance to learn about you, get to know your personal cosmetic goals, and gain an understanding of your lifestyle. This will help him guide you to the treatment option—or combination of treatments—that will result in your ideal outcome. Thanks to his extensive experience and tireless passion for innovation, Dr. Rogers is often able to combine different treatment modalities, creating surgical results that truly exceed his patients’ expectations. The Thigh Lift Procedure

It’s worth noting that every patient is unique, and Dr. Rogers places a high level of importance on collaboratively developing bespoke treatment plans. Your surgical plan will be tailored directly to your physical characteristics and individual cosmetic goals. This section will give you a general idea of what the thigh lift entails, and Dr. Rogers will carefully go over the details of your individual surgical plan before the day of your procedure.

Anesthesia

Thigh lift surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia, which means that the patient is completely unconscious during the procedure. The duration of a thigh lift procedure depends on the extent of the surgery and the techniques used. Generally, the procedure takes between two to four hours to complete.

Careful Incisions

During the procedure, Dr. Rogers will carefully make incisions according to the surgical plan that was developed in advance of your procedure. These incisions will enable him to remove excess fat, lift and tighten any sagging tissues, and trim away unwanted tissues. Once his work is complete, he will carefully close the incisions.

An Outpatient Experience

Thigh lift surgery is typically performed as an outpatient procedure, so you’ll spend a bit of time waking up and resting in our recovery area before heading home to properly begin your recovery process. It’s worth noting that on the day of your procedure, you will need a friend to drive you home, as the anesthesia will make it unsafe for you to drive.

Your Post-Surgical Recovery Period

After your thigh lift procedure, it’s quite normal to experience some bruising, swelling, and tenderness in the treatment area. Before the day of your procedure, Dr. Rogers will give you a clear idea of what you can expect from your recovery experience, including a detailed timeline and aftercare instructions that will help you stay comfortable and heal rapidly. Most patients can return to work and light activities within one to two weeks, but more strenuous activities should be avoided for at least four to six weeks.
