What is Brow Lift and Browpexy?
Brow lift and browpexy are cosmetic procedures that are performed to lift the eyebrows and rejuvenate the appearance of the forehead and upper eyelids.
Brow lift, also known as forehead lift, is a surgical procedure that involves lifting the eyebrows and forehead skin to create a smoother, more youthful appearance. This is typically done by making incisions in the hairline and repositioning the skin and underlying tissue. Brow lift can be done using different techniques, such as endoscopic brow lift, coronal, and temporal. This procedure can help to reduce wrinkles and frown lines, improve the appearance of sagging eyebrows, and create a more open and alert look.
Procedure
The length of the procedure will depend on the specific technique used. In general, it can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to complete, while browpexy is typically a shorter procedure that may take less than an hour.
Recovery
Most patients are able to return to work and normal activities within 1 to 2 weeks after the surgery. However, it may take several weeks for all of the swelling to resolve and for the final results to become fully visible.
Anesthesia
The choice of anesthesia for a brow lift or browpexy procedure will depend on several factors. In general, a brow lift or browpexy may be performed using local anesthesia with sedation, IV sedation, or general anesthesia.

Who Qualifies for Brow Lift and Browpexy?
The ideal candidates for these procedures typically have sagging or drooping eyebrows that create a tired, angry, or sad appearance. They may also have deep horizontal lines or creases across the forehead or frown lines and vertical lines between the eyebrows. In addition, they should be in good overall health without any medical conditions that could interfere with healing. It is also important for them not to smoke or be willing to quit smoking before and after the procedure, as smoking can increase the risk of complications and slow down the healing process.
