EYELID LIFT PROCEDURE
As we age, the skin around the eyes begins to stretch, the muscles slacken, and fat can accumulate, causing a baggy appearance beneath the eyes.
Lower Eyelid Lift – A surgical procedure called Lower Blepharoplasty, more commonly referred as a Lower Eyelid Lift, removes fat, skin, and – when necessary – muscle around the eye, in order to give the face a tighter, more youthful appearance.
Upper Eyelid Lift – A medical condition known as ptosis, which is caused by poor muscle tone or nerve damage, can cause the upper eyelids to droop. A surgical procedure called Upper Blepharoplasty, more commonly referred as an Upper Eyelid Lift, is a procedure which removes fat, skin, and – when necessary – muscle around the eye, in order to give the face a tighter, more youthful appearance.
CANDIDATES FOR A EYELID LIFT
An upper and/or lower Eyelid Lift is commonly performed on patients who struggle with saggy, tired looking eyelids. A Blepharoplasty procedure can offer relief and improve the youthful look and contours of your eyes and face.
